First ever galaxy, brushed with my mouse. I looked far and wide for a tutorial on how to make galaxies, but couldn't find even one. So, I just said to myself "screw this, i'll wing it" and came up with this. I'm satisfied with this as it is my first ever attempt.
Any critical comments very welcome
At some point I may make a tut if this gets some good reception seeing as there are no others on the web.
Layers: 32 not including border or text
brushed with my mouse
Time: dunno
Very good! The work is pretty perfect...
But it would be more beautiful, if it wasn't straight from the top...
And I notice a absence of background stars...
Other than that, It's a great work! Even more for a first attempt without tutorial! Way to go!
thanks . i did try to tilt it a bit, but not very much... yeah, about the background stars, i heard somewhere that in pics with galaxies in, there shouldn't be any background stars. instead there should be background galaxies since the stars are all in galaxies. That's qhy I didn't put any in.

Ok... I give up!
I will annoy you later with something written by someone reliable (nothing against you... but you said that you read it 'somewhere')...
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Though, I think it does need to be tilted a bit more.
Anyways, I'm hoping that you'll make another galaxy sometime soon! This one is great.
